8/23〜9/4(29日休廊)に武蔵小杉の小杉画廊で2人展を開催します。

お時間がありましたら見にいらして下さい。

今回は、陶器のふちねこ(器の縁に掛けて遊ぶもの)や箸置きなども展示します。

I will have 2people exhibition at Kosugi gallery in Musashikosugi.If you have time,please drop by there.

I also show you small cats made of clay.That is called "Huchineko"(you can put it on a cup) and chopstick holder.

Nursery home Rapport Mitsuzawa.特別養護老人ホーム ラポール三ツ沢

There is the nursery home Rapport Mitsuzawa near my house.
I have lent my sculptures to the home for seven years.

The home located at nice atmosphere being surrounded greenery in Yokohama.
You can see it from the lounge.
The chief of home said to me that residentiary,visitor and home staff have enjoyed to see it.
I'm happy to hear that.

I exchanged with another my works,because I need the sculptures to exhibit in this summer.

私の家の近くに、ラポール三ツ沢という特別養護老人ホームがあります。
都会である横浜の中心部にある割には、緑の多い、環境豊かなところです。
７年前から私の作品をお庭に置かせて頂いているのですが、
今回、別の作品と入れ替えてきました。

このホームは、一階にラウンジがあり、コーヒーを出して頂ける設備もあり、
ゆったりとくつろげる空間になっています。
併設の多目的ホールでは、近所の町内会などの催し物が開催されることもあり
人が沢山集まることが出来る場所です。
そのラウンジから見えるところに彫刻を置かせて頂いています。
施設長の方が、スタッフの方々や、入居されてる方のご家族などが無意識の中にも楽しんで見て下さっていると言って下さり
嬉しい限りです。

To repair the basket.本物の籠の修理

Recently one of my friends asked me to repair handle of her real basket made by wood.
I tried to make it made by paper.
How about it? Do you recognize the handle is paper?
I don't know wether it will break soon or it will keep longer.
I can repair it reasonable price.
The result will show me after time proceeding.

最近、友人に頼まれて壊れたカゴの取っ手を新たに付けなおしました。
このカゴは本物の山葡萄の蔓でつくられたしっかりしたものです。
持ち手は紙で出来ています。ぱっと見た所は違和感なく出来たように思いますが、いかがでしょう。
この先、早くすり切れるか、または長持ちするかは時間が経ってみないとわかりませんが
紙ですと手頃な値段で直せるので気軽に修理できるのが良い所です。

Making cats(Huchineko) ふちねこを作る。

As I mention before,I made cats what call "Huchineko" it made by clay.
I have a plan to make it one hundred.
I'm going to reach the number soon.I made it about eighty.

I tried to put various color on the cats.
So it looks fun on the table.You can use it as chopstick holder or play to hung it on the cup.

So what?
You might say that.
I feel like that more making useless things,the more fun.
Ot doesn't so come in handy,but I enjoy to eat dishes with it.

以前にも粘土で　ふちねこ　を作って楽しんでいるお話をしましたが
今回はたくさん作って色んな種類のねこを作ってみました。
一応１００個を目標につくっています。ただ今、８０個なのでもうすぐ目指す数に届く予定です。
これをテーブルに置くとなかなか楽しいです。
箸置きとして使ってもよいですし、ただカップなどに引っ掛けておくのも可愛い感じです。

今年の夏に、彫刻の展覧会（二人展）を予定していますので、その機会に販売する予定です。
”とても役に立つ”　という物ではありませんが、特に役に立たないものほど作るのは楽しいような気がします。
そういうことって、ありませんか？

Doing something for the sake of it. 無心で何かをやる。

It's been really comfortable autumn these days in Japan.

The number of people who make things at my pottery class have increased for the last six month.
They are not only making things but also enjoying the time.

Everyone does many miscellaneous tasks their daily life.
So people are feeling like that they need a time to do something for the sake of it.

For example,walking,working out,cooking,reading what you want to read,writing texts and drawing.
You can do anything.
When you separate off from your daily life to do something for the sake of it,it is valuable time to refresh.
Although making sculpture is my job,it is not relief,when I do it I lose my sense of time and being happy.
Concentrating to do things what you want is great valuable time.
What do you want to do if you have time?

このところ、陶芸教室に参加される方が増えてきました。
皆さん　作品を作るだけではなく、日常とは違う時間を過ごすことを楽しんでいらっしゃるようです。
誰でも日々　仕事や雑用に追われて過ごしていると思います。
そこから切り離されて、何かに無心に打ち込む時間をもちたいなあと感じている方は多いような気がします。
例えば、ひたすら歩く
ジムでトレーニングなどで体を動かす
（普段やらない人は）料理をつくってみる
読みたい本を思い切り読む
文章を書いてみる
絵を描いてみる
などなど、考えると色々ありますね。
日常から一瞬でも離れて、何かに集中する時間が持てるのは、とても貴重なきがします。

私が彫刻を作るのは息抜きではありませんが、時間が経つのを忘れて制作できた時は、充実感があります。
集中して何かをやること、出来ることはとても貴重ですね。
今、我を忘れて何をやってみたいですか？

Begger's Chicken. 「乞食鶏」

This is my first experience to make Begger's chicken.
My friends gave me the chance.They have prepared to buy the ingredients,Chicken, Chinese spices,Chinese rice wine and pork refill in the chicken,for a week ago.
I gave my help to steam and roast it.
I packed the chicken by lotus leaf.
We Make a clay to packed it.
And we put it on a grill and burned wood under it.
After several minutes,we burned wood and leaves on it.
We have been making a fire for three hours.
After burn out,we were really excited to open it.
I wondered what was happening the chicken in the fire.
The result was really nice work!The chicken was reached a fire tenderness.
It was extremely rich and delicious!

今回は、初めて「乞食鶏」という御馳走を作って食べたお話です。
私は乞食鶏という名前も知りませんでしたが、時間がある夏休みに、友人が企画して下さり実現しました。
これは中国の御馳走で、別名「富貴鶏」とも言い、鶏を丸ごと蓮の葉で包み、蒸し焼きにする料理だそうです。
一週間位前から材料を買い集めて準備して下さったそうで、私には初めて見るものばかりでした。
私は焼くのを手伝いました。
まず、たれなどに付けた鶏肉を蓮の葉で包みます。
その周りをくるむ粘土を練り、鶏肉を覆います。
鉄板の上に置き、鉄板の下と上で火を焚きます。
落ち葉や薪を燃やして、蒸し焼きにします。
出来上がるまで約３時間かかるそうで、それまで待ちます。
みんな、いったいあの火の中で、鶏はどうなっているんでしょう！？と、ワクワクしました。
灰をどけて、粘土を割ってみると、なんと蓮の葉は全く焦げていなくて、良い香りがしました。
中の鶏は.....？
見るからに美味しそうな出来上がりです！
食べてみると、芳醇な何とも言えない豊かな味でした。
初めての挑戦は大成功でした。中華料理屋さんでもなかなか食べられない貴重な経験をすることができました。
もし、機会があれば是非おすすめしますが、材料にしても火を焚くにしても、なかなか難しそうですね。。

Incredible power of greenery.偉大な緑の力

The summer will come after rainy season in Japan.
Some say you would be better to make green curtain around your house when summer comes.
So it would lower temperature of the room.

I agree with that.
Greenery of my house is more than that.
Actually my house is surrounded greenery.The big trees give shade on it.
The temperature of the room would be lower than other one.
It would be warm by sun shine in the winter because it's a deciduous trees.
It's an incredible power of green I think.

And as a bonus, in this summer, I planted basil and Japanese basil seeds two month ago.
Now I got fresh basil.
We are helped greenery any time any where.

夏が来ると、緑のカーテンで家の周りを覆いましょう　などとよく言われます。
室内の温度が下がるから　という理由ですね。
私の家は”グリーンのカーテン”なんて物ではなく、木の陰で覆われています。
そのおかげで、だいぶ普通の家よりは室内の気温が低いと思います。
落葉樹なので冬は日が当たって暖かいです。
緑の力は偉大ですね。
今年は２ヶ月前にバジルとシソの種をまいたので、今は好きな時に新鮮なものを食べられます。
色々な所で、私たちは植物に助けられていますね。
