Adolescence.

My one of my jobs is a part time teacher at high school. Recently I came across an explosion of adolescence. Students broken a window, clashing glasses and fighting each other. It was little bloody. They struggle to live their life.If I could help them,though it's a short period of time, I would like to nestle them. They just live more active life than adult person who lives inertial.

Disaster.

Many many houses was broken by earthquake . Tunami broke off their lives. Fortunately,I and my family are safe.
However, we comfort the problem of nuclear power plant. I don't know what will happen from now.
We have used tons of energy to keep our convenience life. We can't imagine living without it.
For now, there are many nuclear power plant all over the world. We might have to change our life. I feel like that nature warn us,
"You have gone too far. You got carried away."

This is one of my works, " Sleeping stone". The pillow is real one. I tried to use extreme different materials soft and hard.

What I wish I did.

What I wish I did when I was young, learning English more, having many friends and spreading my view.
However, if I did so, I would not have made my sculptures. For now, I have many things that I'm interested in.
Which means It's time to come true. I'm going to try making new works, going abroad ( To tell the truth, I've never been abroad..) and studying English more, in order to be able to talk with foreign artist about arts.

I watched the movie "Herb & Dorothy", I was really impressed it.
When you touch art works , the most important thing is the work has what appeals you.
Everyone has own sense of value , so you can enjoy your favorite arts anytime.
Feel everything of works, open your mind and train aesthetic eyes.

Japanese characteristic.

Sometime, I am asked by someone that what is standard when you evaluate arts. In my opinion, the most important thing in meeting arts is whether the work has something what appeals you or not . Most Japanese are interested in what is famous and got award of something. They don't judge art works by their own sense of value. They really like doing same things with other people.It's trivial thing for me.

Emotion.

I want to make my mind what I can feel everything. I want to feel something sensibility.
My failed works were made when I feel sad, disappointed, excited and anger or having extreme emotion.
Having normal sense is best when I make my works I think.
If I wanted to express sad feeling by sculpture, I will not make ones when I have sad emotion.
It is necessary to see my works to take a distance.

Does an actor perform anger when he or she feels resentments?
Although, they looks like to get angry, they would manage d their emotion.
